I plan to pursue a major in Engineering. I believe that engineers are essential to the infrastructure of my home town and the world. The domain of engineering is responsible to create, design, and build the constructs that we rely on for basic societal function. Nearly, there are many research and design companies that I would love to work with after attaining my college degrees. Being able to help design and shape the future of my home state would be a great privilege and would give me a sense of history and ownership. The growth that Oregon will inevitably experience will be dreamed and built by the engineers I hope to become. After finishing my education, I want to share with Oregon the things I have learned. Lebanon is such a great place to live. Being able to see the beautiful Pacific Ocean to the west, and the High Desert Plateau to the east confirms the supremacy of my home state.
