Something that I have always felt very passionate about is music. Music is the only thing that has been with me through everything. It has helped shape me into the person I am today. Who I would be without music in my life, I don’t know, and honestly, I don’t care to know. Music has been perfect for every situation in my life so far. It can make me feel happy, excited, or relaxed. When I’ve had a bad day, and I just want to cheer up, all I have to do is turn on my Blind Melon or Tom Petty CD. This music never fails to put a smile on my face. It literally makes my head feel lighter, makes me breath a little deeper, and gives me the feeling of walking on air. If I close my eyes and concentrate on the lyrics, the worries of my day just float right out of my head. Tom Petty brings back so many memories of nights out with the girls when we drove around singing as loud as we could.
