Change of Integrity Every now and then a human being ratifies different events in life. Some events force the person to change while others do not. The most effective events are those with sorrow and pain. It is psychological, as any person would like to change his or her life after going through an anguished event. I, myself, have been through many events that changed me into a completely new person. The most effective event for me, was breaking my relationship with my best friend. That friend was a very close one. He and I spent most of our times together. There wasn’t one day where we did not call each other. At some points it felt like we were brothers. Simple arguments take place, just like any other relationship, but we never gave any chance for such an unworthy disagreement to tear us apart. So I could never in the past think of one reason that might have split us apart. One summer day after tenth grade, I sensed a change in the way my friend was treating me. The major thing that made me alert was that he dealt with me as if I was just any friend. For the first couple of days I did not care, as I was putting my trust in him. I hoped that he would change, but unfortunately he did not.
