Drinking and Driving After committing a serious crime, drunk drivers get off too easily. Maybe it is because our justice system doesn’t want to deal with the number of drunk drivers that are arrested, or there are just too many of them and they don’t want to overcrowd the already crowded prison system. Well, whatever it is, the drunk drivers need to get more than just a slap on the wrist; they need to be punished more strictly. The justice system should not just fine them a couple of bucks and tell them they are free to go and commit the crime again. Something has to change. Here is an example of what I am talking about: “Cindy Ferguson was driving her three sons and a friend to a party when her car was smashed from behind. An explosion followed, Cindy, Lee (her youngest son) and Tony (one half of a set of twins) were thrown from the car. Cindy jumped up and ran back to the car, pulled a burning Tommy (the second half of the twins) from the burning wreckage.
