The Censorship of Huckelberry Finn The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn has been called one of the greatest pieces of American literature, deemed a classic. The book has been used by teachers across the country for years. Now, Huck Finn, along with other remarkable novels such as Catcher in the Rye .As a teacher that supports the views that Huck Finn should be read in the classroom. I believe that this book has moral and racial lessons to teach us. This book even though it can be percieved as racist shows Huck trying to free a slave, wich shows what was actually occuring at that time.
