“For in much knowledge is much sorrow. An increase of wisdom is an increase of sorrow.” This quote can have many different meanings. It can come from someone who has a great deal of knowledge and an incredible amount of sorrow, so the more they know the more they are likely to have a vast amount of grief. I would definitely have to disagree with this quote. It plainly states that with the more you know, the more you’ll be distressed and an increase of your knowledge is only an increase of your misery.
