Most people don’t even know about the Armenian Genocide, some chose to forget it. The Turks are still till this day in denial. The Armenian population was almost completely abolished. How could anybody not know about this incident? What happened to the Armenians was tragic. No body really knows why the Armenians were targeted. Many questions evolved in my mind while conducting this research. And this is what I’ve found. The ottoman Empire decided to carry out a genocide against the Armenians. Not only did Turkish soldiers carry out the genocide order but so did regular citizens. They found it to be a opportunity for rape, kidnapping, and plunder.
