Year-End Reflections What have you learned about your students this year? I have learned that my students can achieve anything, as long as I am there to believe in, support, and guide them along the way. When reading through a set of essays recently, I was blown away by the progress some of my students have made in their writing. They tackled a very difficult assignment and did so well. A lot of that growth can be attributed to them because they were not frightened of the assignment. What I have learned is that while I need to assist those students who are not frightened, I need to reassure those students that are so that they, too, can have the confidence needed to tackle the challenges I set before them.
