Parents' Expectations
What do your parents expect from you? Is it more important than what you’re expecting from yourself? In my Vietnamese culture, our parents’ expectations are above all. Nevertheless, in my point of view, my expectations from myself are important as much as my parents’ expectations from me. All parents want the best for their children. Well, what parent doesn’t? However, this sometimes leads to unreasonable expectations from parents to their children. My parents are one of the examples.
