Is technology a positive or negative thing in society? Is it useful or is it just a waste of money? These are the questions that are in most people’s minds when the topic of technology comes up around the dinner table. Not only has technology developed into developing on a daily basis but it has also become a major tool in our every day routine, but most of us can’t seem to find the cons, because we are hypnotized by the pros’. The internet has greatly evolved itself into an item which is being used on a daily basis, but is the internet so useful that we should use it while eating dinner or integrate it into our cars and higher the risk of accidents. Only a fool would say the internet is useless. We can read the news for free, check out concerts, and read movie reviews all at the click of a mouse. One can argue that the internet is useful, but one can also argue about the flaws the World Wide Web. We must also realize that the internet cannot solve all of life’s problems. Of course the internet cannot cure cancer, or stop old age or neither can it stop global warming, so I will skip all these issues and talk about some more common: E-mail. E-mail is by far, perhaps, is one of the technological discoveries which have many benefits. It is fast, and cheaper also it is also a great way to communicate with people in far away places and help people who are shy to open up and express their opinions.
