Judgement In the play The Crucible, Arthur Miller demonstrates many different issues. Two important issues still pertinent today is how people judge others by appearance and how people are judged unfairly. In Salem, people were judged by their appearance to be witches, during the Holocaust, Jewish people were judged by their racial appearance and persecuted, and today many Muslims are judged unfairly. During the Holocaust, Hitler persecuted people for being different, just as the people of Salem persecuted Tituba. Tituba was brought over to Salem from a different country and looked extremely different then the common folk.
