Gatsby was a victim in this story because he lost everything; Daisy, money, property evens his own life at the end of this story. He worked hard to earn money by many ways by the way to win back Daisy. 2nd paragraph: - When Gatsby was young, he has a best friend called Dan Cody and Gatsby save his life once. - After Dan Cody died, his mistress uses some legal device to take away twenty five-thousand dollars from Gatsby.
