Income and Wealth
is clear inequality in income distribution due to factors that have an influence, such as demography, gender, skill, executives and employee workers, rich or powerful people manipulating the system, full time or part time, and employment or unemployment. However, there needs to be an acceptable degree of inequality to provide appropriate rewards to those who wish to work harder or achieve more in different ways. Appropriate rewards help to promote individuals to work harder and increase production output; in effect this will benefit the Australian economy. Unfair discrimination causes income inequality. Presently, even now in the 21st century men still virtually earn more than women in all job categories and are still the strongholds of top positions such as managerial or executive roles.
