Thesis Statement: Forming groups, and working in teams is merely the first step in pursuing a result. Effectiveness is the means of obtaining this result. INTRODUCTION. Attention Material: Have you ever seen geese flying south for the winter? Geese fly in a “V” formation. Have you ever wondered over the reason they employ this formation? By flying in a “V” formation, the whole flock of geese can fly at least 71% farther than if its bird flew by its own. Also, whenever a goose falls out of formation, it feels the resistance of trying to go it alone and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of flying with the flock. Moreover, when the lead goose gets tired, he rotates back in the wing and lets another goose to be the leader.
