Although it is a known fact that the United States was an imperialistic nation at the end of the 19th century, I personally believe that it was wrong of us to take the actions we did. For example, many people argue that we were just trying to help other countries. The last time I checked, overthrowing a country’s queen (in the case of a Hawaii) and establishing you own new government is controlling them not helping.
