A Lesson Before Dying A Movie Review Five stars all around. This movie has made a great impact in my soul. The injustice of putting a wrongly accused black boy to the death chair is monstrous. The wrongfully accused Jefferson heard his own lawyer called him a hog. A statement that would make you loses all hope in yourself. Jefferson was just on his way to go fishing when his buddies stopped him on the road and took him up to the store with them. The clerk behind the counter was white, and proud of it.
