The worst essay ever- wrote it in seventh grade. When one walks down a street, one can see an abundance of buildings. Of houses. Of stores. However, when one looks and examines the stores closer, what do they turn out to be? Pharmacies, drugstores, liquor marts, and electric repair, the list goes on. That is all well and dandy, but where may I ask, are the stores for the adults? Where are those dark mysterious shops that hold the fruits of true expression within? Where are they? Although they are there, these havens of sin are usually at the end of a narrow alley way or deep within an apartment complex where few children would dare explore with their inquisitive and budding minds. And that is exactly the reason why. For the children. Limiting an adult’s freedom of expression is justified by societies interest in protecting children. The key behind this little phrase is Innocence. This is the value for my affirmative. Innocence is defined as purity, clear from any dirtiness of society, and filth of lust. Innocence is the ability for two boys to hold hands while walking through a garden without having some sick pedophile try to snap off a couple pictures, and then beg them to have sex. Innocence is natural; it is original, but unfortunately, it can be destroyed.
