This booklet introduces you to the Part 2 modules which will be available in the Classics Department in the 2000-1 academic year. Your choice of modules depends on which degree scheme you are following; please read pp.2-5 and follow the instructions there. There is a form in the centre of the booklet on which to indicate your choices. Please ensure that you complete this and return it on time. If you are not a student within the Department, but wish to take one of the Classics modules listed on p.7, use the form to give details; you will need to have it approved by your own department. If you are a Part 2 AHA student, use the form to show the modules which you will be taking within the Classics Department. All students must undertake work which totals 120 credits during the 2000-1 academic year. This will largely be made up by your choice of modules (except for students following linguistic courses), but there are some compulsory elements for particular degree schemes. Please find the appropriate section below for your own degree scheme and year, and follow the instructions. Some language modules are not currently being offered, but will become available if they are made necessary through any changes in the degree schemes which people are taking: they are marked « .
