On June 3 2003 I attend the Bored of Fire commissioners meeting the local firehouse. The meeting start at 7:30 with Al Leigh, the chairman, making a motion to start the meeting and that Bob Walker, a firefighter, say the pledge to the flag. The passed out the agenda the everyone, and started to discuss unfinished business. It looked to be normal practice each person, from the commissioners to the paid firefighter, gave their specific reports. 3 issues they disgusted the most was the insurance issue, which was about a firefighter who slipped on some ice on a scene and was taken to medicus for treatment, and another firefighter who was responding to a call and when they pulled into the parking lot a 5 gallon jug of adhesive (from the construction) fell off the roof and damage the roof of their car, no one was injured.
