The day my son was born
The day my son was born. On September 30,2000 my beautiful and flawless son Nathan was born. Early that morning I woke up with the feeling of a full bladder, and the gush of my water breaking. The anticipation of WOW this is really gonna happen today. The few phone calls to my doctor and labor coach before heading off to the hospital with my parents. Once I checked into the hospital I was hooked up to monitors and cords for this and cords for that and being asked hundreds of questions. After being put on medication to make my contractions stronger and a pretty painful but uneventful labor Nathan was born. It was the happiest moment in my life when I held him in my arms for the first time. Early that morning I woke up with the urge to go to the bathroom and a gush of fluid, which is nothing new considering that, I was 8 months pregnant. As I was walking to the bathroom I felt another gush of what I thought was urine. I went to the bathroom and did my business and then went to lie on the couch there I had another gush of fluid that’s when I knew that my water had broken.
