Research Problem and Objectives: The research problem to be examined in this study is to evaluate what are the attitudes of Windsor residents towards the state of health care in Ontario. From aforementioned layout of some of the problems and their possible solutions one can grasp the vastness of the issues facing Ontario’s healthcare system. The working hypothesis for this research is that opinions of Ontario residents play a large role in determining what sort of solutions will be looked at. It has been necessary to narrow these objectives to a few things in the political arena. The objectives for this research are the following: 1. Determine attitudes toward the state of healthcare in Ontario. 2. Determine attitudes toward publicly funded healthcare... toward a two-tiered healthcare system... towards privatized, market-driven healthcare. 3. Determine attitudes toward user fees, within the present system.
