Basic Identifying Information The title of this article is, “Proposal for American Indian Wellness Centers”. It is an article taken from the Native American Times written in the January 2000 issue. The author of this article is Murg, Wilheim. Introduction The article, “Proposal for American Indian Wellness”, focuses on creating programs to help preserve the Native American society. A health club owner in Tulsa heads the attempt to preserve various Native American tribes. Sam Perryman along with his wife, Shannon, attempts to open a wellness center as well as a fitness center in a Native American community.
