Tiger Woods The greatest person one can say in golf’s history is Eldrick Tiger Woods (commonly known as Tiger). Now 27 years of age, he has had an unprecedented career since becoming a professional golfer in 1996. He has already won 51 tournaments and more are coming. His achievements in golf have been numerous. In 2000, he won the U.S. Open, British Open, and for the second year in a row, the P.G.A championship.
