Bible is inspired Word of God
The Bible is the inspired Word of God to all of mankind. In Timothy it speaks of the Bible being “God-breathed”. This goes for both th Old Testament and the New Testament. Many books in the Old Testament claim that they are from God. Throughout time this part of the Bible has been considered “God’s Word”. The first five books of the OT are referred to as “The Law”. The books Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy all make explicit claim to inspiration. Genesis, by virtue of association, carries the same divine authority. Throughout the Old Testament, the prophets refer to the Law of Moses, and Moses’ voice was heeded as God’s. God continually tested the people of Israel in following the law. Another claim to inspiration was the fact that many later prophets of the Old Testament refer to the prophecies of the earlier prophets.
