Science Presentation Good morning fellow classmates. Have you ever wondered how our universe came into existence? Well…many scientists have tried to theorize how our universe was created but of course there is no way is proving their theories entirely. The most widely accepted theory is called the big bang theory. The big bang theory was created from field equations based on the theory of relativity made by Albert Einstein. Alexander Friedmann and George gamnow used Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity to create the big bang theory. Basically this theory states that 15 billion years ago, everything was very quiet. There was no light, no time, and nothing existed. Then suddenly a big explosion occurred and set free all the matter in the universe. During the first 10^-43 seconds after the big bang, the four fundamental forces of gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces were unified. At 10^-35 seconds the universe went through a rapid period of inflation. After that, at 0.1 seconds electrons and positrons began to form. At 3 minutes after the big bang, protons and neutrons began to form helium and several other elements and the universe became transparent to light and emitted cosmic background radiation. And finally, after one billion years galaxies begin to form and shortly after stars, solar systems, and planets also began to form. The big bang left over cosmic background radiation.
