TASK 1 Character Analysis Of Chaucer’s Monk While reading Chaucers’ ‘The Canterbury Tales’ we become familiar with the characters’ personalities, and professions through Chaucers’ descriptions of their actions, attire and mannerisms. However, if we study each character much closer and compare them to that of the stereotype of that time, flaws in each character become apparent. For example, if we look at the Monks’ description he is everything he should not be.
