Paradise Lost Pt II (Revelations)
Paradise Lost Pt. II After viewing the first film of the “Paradise Lost” documentary of the West Memphis 3, I wasn’t totally convinced of the three men’s innocence but I was leaning more toward their side. After the second installment of the documentary, I am even more convinced now of their innocence than before. Some of the new evidence that really stuck out and was compelling in the second film was first, the mysterious death of Mark Byers’ wife. That definitely got me suspicious of Mark Byers. Maybe his wife knew something or suddenly found out something and Mr. Byers had to get rid of her before she spilled the beans. Another compelling piece of evidence was the bite marks that were found on one of the boys’ face. The bite marks didn’t match the bite pattern of the three convicted of the crime. I find it such a shame that those marks weren’t identified clearly from the original autopsies in 1993. I know afterwards when the bite marks were identified in photos, the doctors and authorities ruled out that they were bite marks at all and said that they were anything but bite marks and could have been a belt buckle impression.
