Jehovah's Witnesses: Everyday Christians
Many religions today seem to have the idea that Sunday is the only day to be Religious. They practice sinful habits for the six days of the week, and then justify them by going to church Sunday. This does not make God happy. Jehovah’s Witnesses however, attend as much as five functions per week and never rest on what they have learned. They put what the learn into action by applying the scriptures to their everyday lives. Witnesses also read Christian counsel to help them along the way such as: the Watch Tower and Awake magazines. These Help them learn how to applying the loving kindness that they study every day. It is becoming more and more regular for church organizations to associate only on Sundays. Even worse most of the church members are only practicing religious habits on Sundays.” More and more religion is becoming a social thing”, says Dusty Miller, a Jehovah’s Witness. Business men are walking into churches merely looking for more business. If members of these churches would study the bible a little bit more, they would see that they are not making God happy. The church meetings are to learn more about god, and to find out how to draw closer to him, not how to make more money. One major way that the churches are not making god happy, is by having different sects of religions. God did intend to create division, but did not intend for people to fight over which god is correct.
