Liverpool Our Seville adventure started on the Sunday at 7am. With a farewell breakfast of Rolls with Lorne Sausage and brown sauce( wee nostalgia trip for the ex-pats there), we headed from Glasgow towards John Lennon Airport in Liverpool. The airports tagline is taken from Lennons classic song Imagine. Every billboard reads Liverpool Airport 'Above us only sky'. Surely 'Below us only ground' would have been much more reassuring?. That cheeky Scouse sense of humour eh?. A quick check-in and it was up to departures. First holiday highlight was finding the statue of John Lennon on the first floor stairs. The statue found itself wearing a sombrero and Celtic scarf as ample photos were quickly taken.
