: The aim of this experiment is to find out the wavelength l of the Helium-neon (He-Ne) laser using double slits and different gratings. Method: There¡¯re two methods be used to find the wavelength: with a diffraction grating and with a double slits. The diffraction grading is a series of slits or lines on a plastic or glass sheet used to produce a spectrum. The double slit has two slits, the narrow slit and the wide slit. The double slit is used to let the Helium-neon laser go though it.
