Violence aganst woman

One of the things that I have chosen to write about is the issue of violence against women. One of the reflection questions that I have found in the book asked how boys in your community learn to respect women and disrespect women. I think a lot of the men’s disrespectfulness towards women starts at a young age due when boys start having to be the “cool” kid. A lot of times when little boys start thinking that girls have cooties or they are gross. When this happens boys start to act very rude and superior towards girls so they will not get made fun of. I think a lot of times boys. I think as they get older the aggressiveness starts in a man. When they get into high school a lot of guys treat women with little respect because they are suppose to be big and bad. I think that to teach our men to be respectful they need to be taught at a young age.
