I first heard a little bit about Trigun from my friend Jerint a couple years ago. I was a little hesitant to to find out more about the series (we're talking about her here), but this Christmas break I took the plunge and picked up a couple of all 26 episodes. I was quite surprised. Maybe she does have some taste after all... Trigun is your typical 26 episode anime series, featuring a male lead who has a big gun and a goofy personality. Many people compare this series to Cowboy Bebop, if anything due to the western and science fiction themes. Although Trigun has nowhere near the sophistication that Cowboy Bebop presents, the execution and plot is EXCELLENT. This is my first anime review...notice the big image to the left. Although I like it, I'm finding that I want to go down further...and that'd look pretty friggin bad. Maybe I should have resized this image, but that'd take some damn work. So...I'll talk about how the anime review is going to work.
