My Real Life Experience
My real life experience is on “THE CAMP OF TERROR”. Well it wasn’t that scary! Except at night when animals and strangers went wondering around. Actually I don’t think there were that many animals or strangers. Except one possessed boy. Well he wasn’t really possessed and he definitely wasn’t a stranger. But one night everything changed! It all started one Friday evening when my scout group went on a camp. The night was dark as we entered a place we had never seen before. We had to set up camp but it was hard because everything thing was dark and you couldn’t see what or even who might be standing right behind you. We finished setting up camp but then we needed to go to THE BATHROOM! My whole scout troop huddled together holding one torch and made our way down the hill toward the bathroom. On our way back we heard noises of braking twigs and movement come from the sides and even behind us but being to scared to turn around we just kept on walking huddling tighter and tighter together. Then we heard this big “CRACK” and at that moment the air was filled with screams. We all ran as fast as we could until we reached the camp site. That night everyone found it hard to sleep thinking they saw shadows go past and not knowing what was out there waiting for them. The next morning everyone woke up all thinking the same thing. “Thank god it’s Saturday!” As we waited for our breakfast to cook we looked around the camp site seeing little things we hadn’t seen before. It was a little area with many pools of water. Then we saw the main pool but it was at the bottom of a water fall and the only way to get to it was to jump or swing from a rope coming out of the waterfall. Unfortunately we were not allowed to do either of those so we kept walking around. Our scout leaders split us into groups where we had to walk around leaving clues to tell people where we were going. As we walked around in our groups we saw thought we saw figures move past but were too scared to admit it. We made our way back to camp and started to get ready for an activity our leaders had set up for us. We were doing a construction activity which you might think is quite boring but when you’re trying not to think about what could be out there waiting for you it doesn’t seem so boring.
