These are all symptoms of one of the most destructive diseases known to mankind. OTD – Obsessive Toy Disease While the disease itself is not normally fatal as you can see it’s symptoms are the leading cause of suicide, bankruptcy and relationship breakdowns in the western world. Today I will attempt to take some of the mystery and social sigma out of this disease and give you some tools for recognising and battling this obsession. One of the worlds greatest unsolved mysteries was actually the first known case of OTD – “Jack the Ripper” it is also the reason the disease has never been recognised. We have all heard the rumors that the prince of wales was responsible, this is of course true. However the real reason for his killing spree has never been acknowledged – OTD. The princes OTD was so consuming that he had actually brought the royal family to the brink of bankruptcy.
