I used to be heavy. I’m not talking just a little chubby I’m talking 175 pounds and I don’t know if you guys can remember but I’m only 5’2. About 5 years ago when I was 16 I weighed and uncomfortable embarrassing weight of 175 pounds. I also smoked the pot a lot so I had the munchies and I smoked at least a half pack of cigarettes a day which made me really lethargic and inactive. The majority of my family is overweight so I felt like it was normal to be overweight, like it was my destiny or something that I inherited. I wore a size 14 for a good while then I grew out of that and starting wearing a size 16. That is when I knew that I had to loose weight and became serious about. I had a desire to be fit and feel better about myself. Inspired by art I wanted to be beautiful and naturally sculpted. So I started walking to school everyday. Which was about 1 mile there and back, I started eating better foods, more often in smaller portions. I did drink a health shake for a while called Nestle’s Sweet Success twice a day. Within the first month I lost thirteen pounds!!! I had immediate results without any hardcore training or depriving diets. I continued to eat whole foods, and I did cheat every now and then having reduced fat ice cream or Chex mix (the reduced fat kind) only to keep my sanity.
