Smoking It is estimated that the average Chinese smoker puffs away more than a pack of cigarette a day, with more and more Chinese taking up the habit. The Chinese smoke just about everywhere, so secondary smoke is almost unavoidable. Fortunately, for the non-smokers, all domestic flights are now smoke-free. There appears to be very little respect in the handling of cigarettes, because you will often find cigarette burns in hotel carpets, bed sheets and furniture.
