The non Terminal Change I. People change all the time in response to their surrounding environment and what is happening to them . Elie, in The Night written by himself, Elie Wiesel, changed greatly in an emotional way from before the concentration camp until after it. For example, he goes from caring and having feelings for some one he cares for to being happy and feeling good that some one got hung. Also, in many other ways, Elie changed greatly in a spiritual way from a thoughtful happy young boy to a cold-hearted individual. II. With what was going on around him along with his surrounding environment before the concentration camp, Elie was a nice boy with good morals and feelings. Moshe the Beadle, a wise thinker in the town of Sighet, was a very inspirational factor in Elie’s life. Moshe, a man Elie was very fond of, taught him things and opened his eyes to new ideas.
