1) Introduction This experiment is to confirm Thevenin’s, Norton’s and Superposition theorems. Also, it will illustrate that the application of the maximum power transfer theorem gives a true result for the output of the original network. 2) Theory Thevenin’s Theorem: Any two terminals of a network with any number of resistors, voltage source and current source can be replaced with a one voltage source in series with one resistor.
