All storylines have some type of feature that enables them to be compared and contrasted. The plots do not have to be related in any particular way nor do the characters have to play a similar role. In the movies, Prefontaine and Awakening’s, they have plots that can be compared and contrasted by going in depth of the movie detail. The protagonists of both these great movies move promptly in the goal they want to achieve, but they end up in the exact position which they were not hoping for. Both Steve Prefontaine and Malcolm have unstoppable drive to succeed in their ever lasting careers, both are around patients who may not match up to them or are good to their learning abilities, and finally neither one of them leave an lasting impression for the audience around them.
