what is Physics
Once in while, students are assigned to write about a certain subject in school. Today’s topic is a science called physics, more specifically, what exactly is physics. In this essay, I am going to attempt to answer that question. Well in helping us define this science, we must know its history. Physics dates back to prehistoric times. The first people to leave written records of their discoveries and inventions were the Sumerians, Babylonians, and Egyptians. By 3000 BC, the Sumerians had developed a number system, and they used algebraic formulas for following and predicting movements of the stars, sun, moon, and planets. Although the Sumerians, Babylonians, and Egyptians discovered many new things pertaining to physics, the Greeks appeared to have been the first people to develop general theoretical systems of natural sciences.
