“He is going to win the United States Amateur in 2007”. In order for me to play golf at this optimum level, I must focus on having a strong physical, mental, and emotional approach to the game. To me, that means an all around well fundamentally balanced game. That reflects to me because golf is my desire and it is what I love to play. I take this sport very critically and try to play at the stage I am capable of. The first fundamental is the physical characteristic. I try to be in precise shape to play the sport. For example, if I could not walk the course without getting exhausted, then I probably would not play. What I do to stay in well enough shape to play is work out a few times a week and run as much as I possibly can.
