Without honesty society not be able to function even half as decently as it does today. We would live in a society where everybody is unsure if they are being deceived or lied to. We would live in fear and nothing would run smoothly, as it should. Honesty is vital in the way it forms a basis for deeper personal relationships, gives people an inner sense of freedom, and does not place our soul at risk. Dishonest people live in their own make- believe world. Everything they know is not real because they have deceived themselves so they don’t know what is true and what is not.
