During my adolescent years in rural Alabama the thought of going to graduate school never crossed my mind, how could it, the only thing that was on my mind was football. So for the next several years the idea of playing college football consumed my every thought. It wasn’t until February 5th 1992 at the age of 18 that my dream was quickly becoming reality. I was about to announce to the whole state of Alabama, via sports news conference, the name of the University I was choosing to attend, or should I say the University I was going to attend in order to play football.
