“I Believe I Can Fly” is one of my all time favorite songs. It is a very inspirational song. The song was written and sung by R. Kelly. The song won him three Grammy Awards. And put him on top of the Billboard Charts in 1997. Here is what I interpreted from the words of the song. The words are fairly self-explanatory. In the first verse he says he thought he could not go on and that things were not going to get better. Then he found what he had been looking for, that special something, and he realized if he could see it he could do it also. That he should believe and he could do what he wanted to.
