Here we have a teenage country girl that heard voices that told her to help Charles become the King of France and do the will of God. In order to do this, she needed to lead an army to remove the English from Reims. She was able to convince the King to provide her with a small army to accomplish this. Joan was eventually captured at Compiegne when she was left outside and couldn’t get on the drawbridge in time. Joan was captured and found guilty of going against the church and was burned. During the whole process, Joan displayed ethical values such as Courage, Integrity, Loyalty, Respect, Self-Discipline, and Truth. Joan proved herself to be a great warrior.
