Economy update AFP (Private Pension Fund Administrator) investment The proportion of AFP funds invested abroad increased 55% between June 2002 and the same month this year. The reasons for this increase were the better economic and legal perspectives. Last May, Central Bank increased the investment maximum limit outside Chile for the AFP, from a 20% to a 25%. It must be considered that the majority of the AFPs were close to the top at that date.
