macbeth and richard III both of them wanted power. they , after much effort, got it . however, it did not last much long and it was not really what they thought it would be. in both stories exist the theme of death, hate and from the begining the ambition takes part of tha plot. prophecies and premonitions play an important role, also. in spite of thinking that by getting the throne they would get happiness, they soon realise it is not true and the fall down as they reached their own death.
