Naive
Naïve The American Heritage Student Dictionary states that being naïve shows a lack of experience, judgment; being simple as a child; inexperienced; artless. Naïve is innocence, virtuousness, and enduring without knowing. Being naïve means to be unaware, ignorant, uninformed, unacquainted, and oblivious; all the while, maintaining beauty. The act of being naïve is often looked at as a quality held by children. Yet, adults and young adults often hold this characteristic. One place that I see someone being naïve everyday is in middle school. How many girls are heard saying the word “love” used to describe a boyfriend? Learning to love is taught throughout life. First it is learned to love a person’s mother and father who care for and protect the child.
