North Carolina is in a dilemma of deciding on weather or not to have a state Lottery. The reason North Carolina is debating on this topic is because our school education funds aren't getting enough revenue. If the state had a lottery most of the money can be used for our education programs. The surrounding states Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia all have state lotteries in which most of the revenue goes to the education funds. North Carolinians are traveling to these states ever day to play the lottery when they could be able to play it in their on state.
