In this experiment my partners and I attempted to determine whether or not our parachute would ever reach “terminal speed” or the speed at which the air drag on an object cancels out the acceleration of the object and it gravitational pull. In our final experiments we used Leo’s parachute but all three of us had made chutes ourselves. My chute took for its main canopy a standard circular shape with a small hole cut in the center.
